Bibliography and Notes
Students, your job this week is to become experts on your chosen career field. Use internet and print sources to find out information that fits the topics you've chosen in your thesis. Place the information you find directly into your outline, quoted exactly (remember that misquoting is a form of plagiarism) and making sure to include parenthetical citations. Your complete outline should include your thesis, topic sentences for all of your body paragraphs and two quotes, facts or figures from each of your sources, making a total of twenty quotes.
>For full credit, your completed outline should have the following:
Outlines that do not include all of these items will not receive full credit.
>For full credit, you must cite all of your sources in a Works Cited page. This may be attached to your outline.
This must include citations for all 10 of your sources and must be in MLA format. You may use the Google Research function or EasyBib to create these citations.
Your outline should look something like this:
>For full credit, your completed outline should have the following:
- Your thesis
- Headings that identify each of your body paragraphs
- 20 direct quotes or facts taken from 10 different sources
- Direct quotes or facts placed into the correct sections of your outline by topic
- Links to the correct sources placed directly after the quotes
